Clementine,White Hot Chocolate
& Mint Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

Clementine, White Hot Chocolate

650ml Plant based barista milk
(we used gluten free oat)

100g Best quality plant-based white chocolate

Zest 3 Clementines

1 tsp Vanilla extract

Mint Hot Chocolate 

650ml Plant-based barista milk
(we used no added sugar almond)

3tbs Unsweetened cocoa powder

15 mint leaves

Stevia to taste

Method

Clementine,White Hot Chocolate

Roughly chop the chocolate and zest the clementines.

In a saucepan, together with the milk add the clementine zest and vanilla extract. Gently bring up to the boil and then turn off the heat.

Add the chopped dairy free white chocolate to the milk and zest  and stir until all the chocolate has melted.

Pour straight into a blender and blend for 1 minute until thick and frothy.

Serve immediately.

Mint Hot Chocolate

In a saucepan, add the milk and mint leaves.

Gently bring up to the boil and then turn off the heat.

In a small bowl, pour a little of the hot milk onto the cocoa powder,mix well until the cocoa is thoroughly blended, then transfer to the pan with the remaining hot milk and stir to mix.

Pour the milk and mint leaves into a blender, add stevia to taste (we used 2 tbsps) and blend for 1 minute until thick and frothy.

Pour in to cups and dust with cocoa powder Serve immediately.

Two hot chocolates for the holiday season, one naughty and indulgent. One nice, a healthier option. Both delicious festive treats.
